She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Grosse and Pearl Smith Grosse; her former husband Walter "Bud" Paternoster; her husband Paul O. Sohn; her children, James Paternoster (Michele) and Rebecca Debatin of Highland, IL; her grandchildren, Julie LaFrance (Chris), Jackie Debatin, Kristi Sutter (Rob), Brian Debatin (Cathy Kronk) and Jeff Paternoster (Nathan Correll); her sister Iola Carter of Colfax, IL.; and her son-in-law Ron Debatin. She was also cherished by four great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Ron Debatin Memorial Scholarship c/o the University of Illinois or Dominy Memorial Library, Fairbury.
