She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Broers and Mabel Baker Broers; her husband Willard Ahrens; her son Larry; her brother Merlin Broers; her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Ahrens, Helen and Marlene Ahrens; her daughters, LuAnn DeBolt (Robert) and Melodie Minger (Dan); her daughter-in-law Brenda Ahrens (late Larry) of Ballwin; and her sister-in-law June Ahrens. She was also cherished by 8 grandkids, 16 great grandkids.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka, IL or Evangelical United Methodist Church, Washington, IL.
