Byrd Jr. of Eureka, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Sr. Byrd and Mireille J. Sauvage Byrd; his former wife Leota M. Aberle; and his sister Joyce Weir. He is survived by: his wife Sara Aeschleman Fischer; and his children, Deb Roth (Ken), Steve Byrd (Colleen), Brad Byrd (Barb) and Matt Byrd (Marlise).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke.
