He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Beard and Inez Jones Beard; his sister Mary Lou Ellege; his daughter-in-law Joyce Beard; and his grandson Trevor Mitchell.
He is survived by: his child Gail; his wife Gail Irene Beard of Eureka; his children, Dan Beard (Lori) of Corinth, Randy Beard of Geneseo, Tammy Mitchell (Dennis) of Hudson, Tina Sutter (Dan) of Eureka and Tonya Caron (Ken) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Josh Beard, Rebekah Seuferer (Bryant), Amanda May (Dietrich), Zach Mitchell (Aly), Janae Leman (Trent), Wesley Sutter, Nathan Sutter, Jill Gribble (Daniel), Josie Caron, Isaac Caron and Olivia Caron; and his great grandchildren, Til, Rye, Tate, Crey, Avery and Jace.
