He was predeceased by: his grandson Raymond Martin; his brother Chad Vitello; and his parents, Jean Kubycheck and Howard Kubycheck. He is survived by: his spouse Lynn; his children, Russell J. (Christina), Christopher (Stacie), Jon (Elizabeth), Ellyn Jacobs (Marc), Lisa Neisser (Victor) and Laura Smith (Mitchell); his grandchildren, Andrew, Kyle, Nick, Kory, Megan, Conner, Lucas, Keegan, Jake, Oliver, Victor, Liam, Henry, Micah, Avery, Anna, Colin and Raleigh; and his siblings, Sue Nowiszewski, Guy Vitello and Blase Vitello.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A prayer was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (427 West Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at the Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
