It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Fischer of Elmhurst, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Loy Fischer; and her siblings-in-law, Lynn Fischer (Linda), Caroline Romine (Randy) and Rosalee Wade. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Fischer (Sandra) and Craig Fischer (Laurie); her grandchildren, Katie (Patrick), Jacob (Fianceé Olivia), Abby, Lauren, Maddie and Kayla; and her sister Sharon Slinkman (Harold). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“Dear Kevin and Craig, I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing-- she was a really lovely person and I think, modern for her times. I babysat you both, and your parents were dear friends my parents, Len and Marion Fazio. I have many memories of the four of them playing pinochle around the table on Saturday nights -- muffled laughter -- and sometimes, not so muffled.. We just lost my Mom this past September so it is extra sad to hear about Joyce. My thoughts are with you both. Beth Fazio”
