He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Stibbe and Georgia Stibbe. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel and Scott; his sisters, Ruth Hanschke (Roy) and Connie Deets (late Dick); and his granddaughter Skylar Stibbe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and friends.

His body was donated to science and will thereafter be cremated.
