It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Wayne Schweizer of Edwardsville, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Schweizer; his parents-in-law, Richard and Evelyn "Tootie" Greenwalt; and his sister-in-law Jeena Greenwalt. He is survived by: his wife Jana Greenwalt; his children, Kari Unterbrink (Tyler) of Moro, Greg Schweizer of Edwardsville and Jeff Schweizer (Abby) of Moro; and his siblings, Cheryl Stanton (Jim) of Taylorville, Kathie Easterday (Marc) of Rosamond, Mark Schweizer (Lisa) of Nokomis and Julie Johnson (Kurt) of Edwardsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Trinity Lutheran Church.
