It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Alma Henschen of Edwardsville, Illinois, who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. William C. Bekemeyer and Alma Bekemeyer (Lueker); her daughter Joyce Cook; her grandson Brian Pulliam; and her siblings, Lawrence Bekemeyer, Rev. Ehard "Paul" Bekemeyer, Kenneth Bekemeyer, Arnold Bekemeyer, Luetta Bekemeyer and Celia Leitner.
She is survived by: her son Hal Henschen (Odette) of Hamel, IL; her granddaughter Christina Dodd (Tony) of Glen Carbon, IL; her great grandchild Rylie Dodd; and her son-in-law Mike Cook of Carl Junction, MO..
