He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Stahlhut and Bernice Stahlhut (Albrecht). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Stahlhut (Vieth); his daughters, Renee Jennings (Mike) of Edwardsville and Julie Onwiler (Darren) of Edwardsville; his grandchildren, Dylan Onwiler, Haley Onwiler, Kayden Jennings and Allison Jennings; and his brother Larry Stahlhut of Edwardsville.

The family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society in care of Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.
