He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gooch Sr. and Mae Gooch (Roundtree); his wife Donna Gooch; his daughter Cynthia Copeland (Priestly); and his siblings, Zelda Burrell, Virginia of Washington, Harry and Percy Gooch.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Jackson (Gooch) of Edwardsville, IL., Roberta (Gooch) and Thomas (Eric) of Concord, CA; and his grandchildren, Rodney, Robert, Jerry, Michael Copeland, Sacha, Joshua Jackson, Christopher, Evan and Brianna Thomas. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; and 17 great great-grandchildren.
