With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet L. Gerdes of Edwardsville, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on March 27, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tucker and Charlotte Tucker (Sniff); her brother James Jr.; and her husband Howard Gerdes. She is survived by: her siblings, Julie Snyder (Bob), Jeanne Reggio (Bob) and Jerry; her sons, Steven (Marsha), Mark (Karen) and Scott (Teresa); her grandchildren, Kileen Huber (Otto), Aaron (Jordan), Daniel, Sarah and Annie Kate Gerdes; and her great grandchildren, Theo, Jonah and Gideon Huber. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
