He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Barry and Winifred "Winnie" Barry (Hayden); and his brother Patrick Barry. He is survived by: his wife Marilynn J. Barry (Hape); his children, Kevin Barry (Mary Kay Barry) of Altadena, CA and Elizabeth Barry of Hillsborough, NC; his grandchildren, Molly Barry of Washington, D. C., Brendan Barry of Austin, TX and Kathleen Barry of Altadena, CA; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Stegemeier (Bob) of Granite City, IL and Joseph Barry (Josie) of Walnut Creek, CA..
Memorials may be made to the United States Tennis Association Foundation which provides kids in under-privileged and under-served communities the opportunity to learn to play tennis.
