He is survived by: his wife Judith Long; his daughters, Catherine Adams (Marty) of Edwardsville and Debrah Hill (Brian) of Edwardsville; his grandchildren, Callaghan Adams (Tyler Stamer), Kennison Adams, Canon Adams, Gabriella Hill and Amelia Hill; his sister Mary Ann Champion (Ralph) of Glen Carbon; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Long (Pat) of Holiday Shores and Marianne Long of Highland.

Memorials may be given to Eden Church, the American Diabetes Assn. or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
