He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene P. Ely and Bonnie Ely (Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Dona Ely (Meredith); his children, Harry R. Ely (Kim) of Alton and Ann Rogers (Wes) of Sorento; his grandchildren, Colten Rogers, Darla S. Ely and J. T. Ely; his brothers, Terry Ely (Julie) of Springfield, Craig Ely of Virginia and Geoffrey Ely (Jen) of Highland; his sister-in-law Luan Meredith (Jim Ward) of St. Louis; and his cousin Denise. He is also survived by nephews; cousins; other extended family and many friends.
