Betty L. Plogger Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty L. Plogger of Edwardsville, Illinois, born in Carrollton, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oran Varble and Dorothy Johnson Varble; her spouse Russell "Gene" Plogger; her daughter Diana; her great grandchild Skyla; and her siblings, Mary Goodall, Annie Haneline, Margaret Varble, Catherine Vice, Roger, Paul and Gene Varbel.

She is survived by: her children, Russ Plogger of Carrollton and Donna Hughes of Troy; her grandchildren, Adam Hughes (Elizabeth), Jessica Hughes, Jacob Hughes (Katie), Chris Plogger, Kimberly Mendez (Hazael) and Kelly Plogger; her sisters, Connie Bishop of Winchester, Bernice Kitson (David) of Godfrey, Ruth Loy of Jerseyville and Dorothy Ray of Michigan; and her pet Annabelle. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
