She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Charles W. Bennett and Retah Bennett (Johnson); her husband Irvin C. McCourtney; her son-in-law Larry Dunnagan; her sisters, Adrienne Ikerd and Marilyn Bennett; and her brother-in-law David Ikerd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sue Allen (Gail) of Edwardsville, IL and Kara Dunnagan of Caldwell, ID. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Brown Street Baptist Church in Alton.
