Virginia Shewmaker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Shewmaker of Eddyville, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Randolph and Sybil Randolph (Meacham); her husbands, Robert Eugene Palmer, Joffre Brent and Bryce Shewmaker; her sons, Steve Palmer and Thomas Palmer; her siblings, Dee Randolph, Arthur Randolph, Kathryn Smith and Vivian Marie Cox; and her children-in-law, Janice Palmer and Lonnie Grathler.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Palmer of Galatia, IL, Jerry Palmer of Simpson, IL, Bryl Palmer (Mary) of Winamac, IN, David Palmer of Golconda, IL, Harry "Butch" Palmer (Kelly) of Simpson, IL, Martha Wise (Donnie) of Eddyville, IL and Judy Graham (Mike) of Simpson, IL; and her grandchildren, Lori Colbert, Amanda Eddington, Matthew Palmer, Patty Hinojos, Brandy Hall, Ty Palmer, Casie Carmickle, Samantha Evans, Tammy Swisher, Kevin Graham, Kylee Palmer, Stephanie Grider and Bobby Wise. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
Those attending the service are reminded to observe customarily accepted social distancing guidelines.
