It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Lee Jones of East Saint Louis, Illinois, born in Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Cureton and Annie Lou Cureton; and his sister Maggie. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jones; his children, Frederick Jones (Tammie), Dr. Paul Jones (Dewnzar), Deborah Jones-Gibson and Michael Jones (Alesia Renee); his grandchildren, Ashley, Porscha, Alesia (Miki), Talor, Kayla, Chanel of Paul, Tiara and Alexandria "Alex"; and his great grandchildren, Ashton "Cole" and Jaxx. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
