He is survived by: his sisters, Ann of Washington and Bessie Summers of Mississippi; his children, Undra Gipson Sr. of Mississippi, James Harris of Illinois, Knoxell Thomas of Illinois and Callie Thomas of Illinois; his stepdaughter Nicole Nauden; his grandchildren, Undra Gipson Jr. (Ashly) of Mississippi, Klayton Purchase of Illinois, Ni'keylah Thomas, Adrianna Thomas and Alexandra Thomas; and his friend Kamina Harris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
