It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Gene Beeney of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Beeney of Washington and Elsie Mabel Beeney (Bolieo); his daughter Melissa Kay Beeney; and his siblings, Evelyn Geier, Vera Beeney, Walt, Dewey, Donald, Clifford and Ted Beeney.

He is survived by: his wife Elva Kay Stevens; and his children, William Joseph "Joe" Beeney (Angie) of Washington and Crystal Kay Mason of Pekin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
