LaConte of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Roanoke, Illinois, who passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilmer LaConte and Gladys LaConte (Stechman); his wife Joan LaConte of East Peoria; his children, Nancy Richey (Eric Stipp) of East Greenville and Tim LaConte (Vicki) of Riverview, Fla.; his grandchildren, Ryan Richey, Katie LaConte and Sam LaConte; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Richey and Michael Croll.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Runners' Association or First United Methodist Church in East Peoria.
