It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ryan Gentry Pitts of East Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Robert Pitts; and his stepgrandfathers, George Bastian and Chester Elsey. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Pitts, and Christine Pitts, Sr. (Bastian); his siblings, Lisa Pitts of East Peoria, Marla Pitts (Terry Gavin) of Peoria, Katlyn Bishel (Tyler) of East Peoria and Robert L. Pitts Jr. of East Peoria; his grandparents, Jean Elsey of Washington, Charles Bastian (Anita) of Cuba and Barbara Bastian of Washington; his nieces and nephews, Lilia Marquardt, Trip Pitts, Jace Pitts, Sawyer Bishel, Saylor Bishel, Joey and Morgan Gavin; and his pet Winston. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ark Animal Shelter, 477 State Route 26, Lacon, Illinois 61540 or to the Rivers Edge United Methodist Church, 500 Chicago Street, Spring Bay, Illinois 61611.
