He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cooling and Dorothy Cooling (Dodgers); and his sister Darlene Sopko. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Johannsen of East Peoria; his sons, Reed Cooling (Melinda) of East Peoria and Robert Cooling (Mindy) of Bristol, WI; and his grandchildren, Dori Henry (Devan), Savanna Cooling, Brooke Cooling and Rhett Cooling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association Central Illinois Chapter, 614 West Glen Avenue, Peoria, IL 61614.
