It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Allen Taylor of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Taylor and Betty Parker Taylor; his former wife Betty L. Hoffer; his sister Kay Cotter; and his grandson Joshua Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Suzan M. Frazee Scharp; his children, Gina Bullock (Bob), Lisa Taylor, Bo Taylor (Lori), Gary Scharp (Jennifer) and Toby Scharp; and his siblings, Steve Taylor (Carolyn), Ed Boore (Marilyn), Patty Fuller (Kenny) and Celine Turner (Bill). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren with #32 due; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PCAPS in Peoria, TAPS in Pekin in honor of his love for animals or Ronald McDonald House.
