He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Riebel and Verta Mae Riebel (Ellis); his former wife Marlene "Toots" Riebel; and his mother-in-law Janette Walker. He is survived by: his wife Jan Becker Riebel; his daughter Jackie Rodcay of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Anita Hurst (Eric) and Joey Hemminger (Breanne); his great grandchildren, Jer, Liv, Ella and Owen; his brothers, Bill Riebel (Sue), John "Butch" Riebel (Kathy), Jeff Riebel (Cheryl) and Jerry Riebel; his children, Doug Becker and Lynn Bianchi; his grandchildren, Chad, Nina, Mia and Antonio; and his siblings-in-law, Duane Walker, Elaine Walker and Judie Murray.
