Elaine Elizabeth Debis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Elizabeth Debis of East Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter R. Short and Gladys E. Short (Clooney); her husband Frederick W. Debis; and her son-in-law Ron Johnston. She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Ruprecht (Larry) of Oak Park and Peggy Johnston of East Peoria; and her grandchildren, Haley Carrington (Matt) of Washington, Reid Ruprecht (Ann Marie) of La Grange, Noel Johnston of Peoria Heights, Taylor Caruso (John) of Chicago and Thomas Johnston of East Peoria. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her church.
