She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Schaer and Louise Schaer (Behrens); her husband Donald Raymond Hoffer; and her siblings, Walter Schaer, Fred Schaer, Herman Schaer, Robert Schaer, Emma Bockler and Edna Marks.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Alexander (John) of East Peoria, IL, Debbie Springer (James) of Metamora, IL and Dean Hoffer (Mary Lynn) of Naperville, IL; and her grandchildren, Melissa Alexander, Lacey Alexander, Joshua Springer (Nikki), Justin Springer (Kim), Sara Dentino (Justin), Andrew Hoffer and Danielle Hoffer. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
