He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everett C. Johnston and Margaret Johnston (Gonsalves); his wife Alice M. Haedicke of East Peoria; his children, Theresa Johnston of East Peoria and Art Johnston (Sandra) of East Peoria; his grandchildren, Jeremiah "Jake" Johnston (Anna), Andrea Watson (Adam) and Rachel Johnston; his great grandchildren, Shawn, Tyler, Jason Johnston, Logan, Brody, Katelyn Watson, Davian and Rae Marie Smith; his great great grandchildren, Vanessa and Raiden Johnston; his siblings, Gary Johnston of Peoria and Shirley Valenti of Oklahoma City, OK.; his daughter Margaret; and his grandson Riley.
