It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Oberle in East Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Oberle and Helen Oberle (Johannes); his son Steven "Steve" Oberle; and his brother Francis "Fran" Oberle. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Haddigan; his son William "Bill" Oberle; his brother Ken Oberle; and his grandchildren, Amanda Booker (Chris), William Oberle, Jr. (Collette), Ashley Oberle and Steven Oberle, Jr.. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Don's memory may be made to Peoria Notre Dame High School.
