It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Besler of East Peoria, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Besler and Francis Weibel Besler; and his siblings, Dora Mae and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Harris; his sons, Don and Gary Besler; his grandchildren, Rachael and Quinn Besler; his sister-in-law Carol Besler; and his pet Barney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6pm Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington with social distancing and face coverings.
