Ramona Ray Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2019, at the age of 90, Ramona Ray (East Moline, Illinois), born in Seymour, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Whitmore and Hilda Haines Whitmore; her brother-in-law Jerry Green (Jennings); and her sister Sue Buckallew. She is survived by: her husband Lewis L. "Joe" Ray; her children, Cherry Harkness (Steve) of Colona, Joe Ray (Cathy) of Woodhull, David Ray of Rock Island and Mike Ray (Jenn) of Le Grand, IA; her grandchildren, Troy Harkness (Deb), Stephenie Gellerstedt (Jon), Aimee Ray, Shaun Ray, Kelsey Ray and Chance Ray; her great grandchildren, Sean Harkness, Jake, Hannah and Britta Gellerstedt; and her brother-in-law Bill Buckallew. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
