She was predeceased by: her parents, Sally Walker (Woods) and Daniel Walker; her husband Samuel Simmons; and her siblings, Charlie Walker and Paralee Walker.

She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Mary Watson and Marie Drew of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary.
