It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Gernant of East Moline, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ellen Whitcomb (Gottsche). She is survived by: her father Jon Whitcomb; her husband Bill Gernant; her sons, Harrison Gernant (Jennifer) and Stephan Gernant; her grandchildren, Tristan, Aidyn, Evelyn and Lani; and her siblings, John Whitcomb of Longmont, CO and Jannette Whitcomb.
Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or Salem Lutheran Church, Moline, where Christine was a member.
