He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Benzon and Esther Benzon (Fahlberg); his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Faye Benzon; and his parents-in-law, Alice and Kelly James.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Kay James; his children, Kelly (Barb Benzon) and Chellee (Darrin Norin); his grandchildren, Morgan Norin, Kyle Norin (Liz Rogers), Alexandra Benzon (Mark Leveling), Nathan Spence (Angel) and Nick Spence; his brother-in-law Robert Sewell of Hampton, Illinois; his brother Lon; and his sister-in-law Sue James. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; his sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to River Bend Food Bank.
