He was predeceased by: his father Floyd Tibbs. He is survived by: his wife Rita R. Mulhall; his brother Ernest Tibbs (Carol); his children, Angelia Tibbs, Christopher Tibbs, Rebecca Heft and Jennifer Funk (Luke); and his grandsons, David Justin Duszak, Jacob Taylor Duszak, Nathan Zaley, Adam Heft, Joseph Heft, Wyatt Heiden and Emmett Funk.
