It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerardo Soto Basabe (Des Plaines, Illinois), who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Josefa Villa; his children, Maydali Soto (Antonio Morales), Maria Soto, Luis Soto, Bryan Soto, Eric Soto and Jerry Soto; his grandson Evan Ruiz; and his close friend Daniel Dominguez (Dulce Sanchez).
