He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smith; his children, Demetrius Taylor (Ashley), Candra Gipson, Ronnie Staples III and Latida Brooks-Banks (Courtney); his siblings, Carolyn Taylor, Earl Taylor, Jr. (Junebug), Loretta O'Neal (Lindsey) and Annette Jackson (Greg); his mother-in-law Ruby Flowers; his brothers-in-law, James Smith, Allen Smith (Sandy) and Wesley Smith (Vonzella); and his grandchildren, Iyanisha, I, Jaya, Demetrius, Zamariyah, Icyanna, Deasia, Saniyah, Courtney, Jr. and I'Nala. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
