He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Cummins and Ethel Reber Cummins; his wife Shirley Helm; his children, Douglas Cummins (Debbie) of Arlington, Texas and Lisa Pryer (Chris) of Shelbyville; his daughter-in-law Linda Cummins of Decatur; and his son David Cummins. He was also cherished by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
