With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roden O. Hines (Decatur, Illinois), born in Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 11, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Hines and Mary Hines (Jackson); his son Rollin Hines; and his brother Robert Earl Hines. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Hines; his children, Cynthia Butler (Patrick), Dana Dotson (Donald), Cheryl Hines and Rodney Hines; his grandchildren, Nycoria, Cylena, Danielle, Erianna, Eriya and Rodney Jr.; and his siblings, Otis E. Hines and Betty Wiley. He is also survived by great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law.
