He is survived by: his wife Barbara Adele Burt; his brother Lewis Edward Garrett of Las Vegas, NV; his sister-in-law Nancy Petrucha of Decatur; and his children, Robert Joseph Garrett of Decatur, Mary Colleen Garrett of Springfield, Thomas Luther Garrett of Decatur, Michael Scott Garrett of Decatur and Cheryl Kay Albert of Decatur. He is also survived by his five children.
