With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madlyn Van Praag (Decatur, Illinois), born in Oakley, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Madlyn Van Praag to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Harrison and Minnie Laura Whitney Eades; and her siblings, Harry Herbert, Mildred Minerva, Raymond Richard, Anna Alvera, Ethel Eleanor and Jack Joseph.

She is survived by: her spouse Sol Van Praag, Jr.; and her children, Robert Allen Van Praag, Sally Wyne (C. Edward Wyne) and Kathryn Van Praag. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Due to Covid restrictions, the family will hold a private graveside service on February 12, at Fairlawn Cemetery.
