She is survived by: her children, Kylon Carlton, Kevin Day (Sharline) and Rachel "Dede" Murrell Burries (Desmond); her close friend Rachel Gene Murrell; her siblings, Donald Day Redmon Sr., Wendell Ragsdale Sr. and Zelma Day Coleman; and her close friends, Monty McGee, Sandra Johnson and Pamela Cooper. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
