Mattingly of Decatur, Tyler Marsh (Lauren Hocking) of Decatur, Brandon Marsh (Kelsy) of Argenta and Cody Marsh of Maroa; his stepgrandson Justin Harrelson (Tiffany) of Decatur; his great grandchild Kade Bliven of Decatur; his great-grandparent Cooper Marsh of Argenta; his stepgreat-grandchild Londyn Harrelson of Decatur; and his siblings, Joe, Jerry Mattingly, Lydia Allgood and John Mattingly. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in James's honor to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
