He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan Gandy and Willie White; and his brothers, Artie, Woodrow, Willie Evan and Bernes Gandy.
He is survived by: his son Gregory Gandy; and his siblings, Maxine Conley, Burnies Gandy, Arthur Gandy, Alvin L. Gandy and Jesse Gandy. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
