She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mize and Anna Mize (Bratke); and her husband John W. Matlock. She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Thomas of Decatur; her grandchildren, Todd Thomas and Christine Thomas-Cullison of Decatur; and her great grandchildren, Kyle, Shyann, Sabrina and Leila.
