She was predeceased by: her father Nathan Catterton; her husband George Gowen; her mother Nola Catterton Hunt (Pool); and her half-siblings, Mary Virke, Audrey Phillips and Paul Catterton.

She is survived by: her children, John Hunt and Claudia Gowen; her siblings, Charles Catterton of Sumner, Clara Bird of Lawrenceville and Jean Green of Indianapolis, IN; and her half-sister Sara Myers of Olney. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
