She was predeceased by: her siblings, James L. Cook, Aaron Cook, Glodine Johnson and Irene Everhart; and her aunt Gloria Johnson Sangster.
She is survived by: her husband Elder James T. Ligon; her children, Michael Ligon, Linda Ligon and Tim Ligon; her sister Fannie Mae Slaughter (Carl); her aunts, Minnie L. Liggon of Bells, Rebeca Hess of Brownsville, Harriet Oldham of Decatur, Survirn Webb of Memphis and Hazel Hooker of Memphis; her siblings-in-law, Susie Cook, Identry Crout, Mildora Hollifield and James Mann (Stella); her grandchildren, Tierra Ligon, Brandon Ligon, Dartavius Ligon and Desiree Ligon; her godchildren, India, Kierra and Kendall; her close friend Elizabeth Rawls; her nieces, Patricia Wilson and Shauna Boyd (Cletis); her adoptive sons, Shelton Bratcher, Melvin Reed, Rodney Cook and Tony Knotts; and her great grandchildren, Tayshon Ligon, Amarion Ligon, Navaeh Ligon and La'Nyiah Ligon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
