He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Bechtel and Sylvia D Bechtel (Adams); and his siblings, Ronald, Sherilyn, Donna and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Erlinda Hiyangan; his children, Daniel Bechtel of Elkhart, IL and Tianna Davis (Alexander) of Decatur, IL; and his brother Gerald Bechtel (Barbara) of Lake Zurick, IL. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
