It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David M Scott Sr. of Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Scott and Helen Scott; and his siblings, Nancy McKay and Phillip Scott. He is survived by: his wife Donna (Buzzird) of Decatur; his children, David M. Scott Jr. of Champaign, IL, Debbie Scott Newman of Ava, IL and Marsha Lambert (Cam) of Ft. Branch, IN; his stepchildren, Damon Stoner (Doreen) of Franklin, TN, Douglas Stoner of Decatur and Dawn Stoner of Ft. Myers, FL; his siblings, Michael Scott (Peggy) of Bonita Springs, FL and Susan Scott Hoelzer (Steve) of Ft. Myers, FL; his sister-in-law Patricia Scott of Aurora, IL; his grandchildren, Jaxson, Aiden, Harmony, Alexis and Madeline; and his great grandchild Malvina.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions the family will host a private memorial service at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
